What are the effects and side effects of diosmin?
The main function of diosmin is to strengthen the elasticity of blood vessel wall, increase blood vessel tension and reduce capillary permeability. It is often used for symptoms of acute hemorrhoid attack, such as acute thrombosis or hemorrhoid edema, and also for the treatment of venous and lymphatic dysfunction related symptoms, such as venous edema, soft tissue swelling, local pain, thrombophlebitis, deep vein thrombosis, etc. Its side effects are relatively few, mainly allergic reactions and a few patients will appear gastrointestinal reactions, autonomic nerve dysfunction, but most patients are not serious symptoms.
